Tasmania

A hiking paradise, Tasmania is home to unique temperate rainforest, true alpine country, some of the last remaining wilderness in the country and more waterfalls than you can poke a hiking stick at. With so many hikes to explore it will take a while to get through most of them but that just means more trips to the Apple Isle.

A plethora of national parks house a variety of day hikes and longer multi-day trails. The Great Walks of Tasmania are a national treasure and some of the best multi-day hikes in the country. Hopefully over the years this page fills up with trails as I explore this amazing part of the world.
